Tomatoes on the Rise

A recent freeze in Florida has effected the price and supply of tomatoes. Tradition sandwich size tomatoes of the 5×6 and 6×6 size will be almost not available. The volume of larger 4X5 tomatoes are there but demand will cause the price to go up. Food Service might need to look at roma tomatoes as a possible alternative. The freeze also has effected the supply of cherry tomatoes.
